What is the YA Chronicles?

A themed Young Adult book box service that feeds your bookish addiction every month. Every box contains a new release stand alone novel or first book in a new series, and awesome theme-related things.
Occasionally we also do Sequel boxes! Highly anticipated new release sequels to the series you adore and custom/exclusive items to go along with them!

What comes inside the box?

– One book
– A TYAC bookmark
– 3 to 6 other items.

I already own the book. Can I return it?

We try our best to avoid this by only selecting books that have been released at most 1 month before the box is sent out. Unfortunately we cannot ensure that you’re not an eager beaver and haven’t already purchased the book.

At this time, if it happens that you already own the book, we will not be able to refund your purchase.

Who chooses the book?

We read all the YA advanced reader copies that come our way (usually 10-20 a month) and choose a book out of the bunch to create a theme around. We choose a book based on how much we enjoyed reading it, its level of diversity, and whether or not we can create a theme for it.

When is the box mailed out?

We aim to have all the boxes sent out by the 18th of each month. 

How much does The YA Chronicles cost?

For a single month subscription, The YA Chronicles is AUD $39.99 + p/h. inc. GST.

For a three month subscription, The YA Chronicles is AUD $119.99 + p/h. inc GST.

For a six month subscription, The YA Chronicles is AUD $239.99 + p/h. inc GST.

What edition of the book will be in the box?

As we’re an Australian based service; the only books we can provide are the Australian editions.

How much is shipping to my country?

Shipping within Australia and to New Zealand per box is AUD $9.99 (tracking included)

Toll Overnight Delivery is AUD $13.99 (Australia only, tracking included)

Shipping Internationally per box is AUD $22.99 (tracking included)

TYAC Bookmarks are available for Free International Delivery.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Delivery with Australia Post allows PO box address.

If selecting the Toll Overnight Delivery Option (Australia only) there is no access to PO boxes.

I'd like to purchase multiple past boxes, is there a way to save on shipping?

Yes there is! Depending on which boxes you’d like and your location, we can combine multiple boxes and save on shipping. It isn’t possible to do this via the website, but if you’d like to do this send us a message through the Contact Us page or any of our social media platforms and we’ll see what we can work out for you!

In your message please include which boxes you’d like to purchase and the counrty you’re located in to get the ball rolling.

Is there automatic recurring payments?

No there isn’t.

When you purchase our products, what you pay for is exactly what you get, for the time period that you’ve purchased.

A 1 month subscription will get you the box for that month, but if you’d like the next box as well, you’ll have to log back into your TYAC account and purchase it again, or choose another package.

A 3 month subscription will get you three months in a row and then end, at which point you can log back into your TYAC account to repurchase the subscription or choose another one.

A 6 month subscription will get you six months of the box before ending, at which point you can log back into your TYAC account to repurchase the subscription or choose another one.

Can I pay with credit card?

Yes you can! PayPal accepts credit card payments without signing up. Redirect to PayPal through the checkout and you can complete the transaction there.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Send us an email at support@theyachronicles.com.au with “CANCEL” in the subject line ASAP and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Note: You will need to cancel BEFORE the start of a new month.

For example, if you want to cancel your July box, you MUST cancel by June 30th.

I would like to include my product in a future box. What should I do?

Email us at info@theyachronicles.com.au with a product description and pricing.

Alternatively you could ask us to check out your store on any of our social pages.

I would like to review a YA Chronicles box. What should I do?

We are currently not accepting review requests for our boxes.
